After receiving my first review last week, I was determined to make one more effort to weed out the remaining typos, as that was a valid complaint that he made. It's amazing how many times you can read your own writing, and still miss seemingly obvious mistakes. My son, Darren, had found plenty for me before too. So I took a slightly different tack this time, starting at the end and working backwards through the chapters, so that I didn't concentrate on the story at all, just the words. I must admit I found more issues than I expected, so have fixed all those, and re-published an updated version.
After doing that, I decided it was about time that the book was available in paperback, so I've spent a few days preparing and formatting it. This is now also available, self-published through Amazon. It's £6.40 in the UK and $7.99 in the US.
Right, time to go and order my own copy for my bookshelf!
